AC/DC – It’s A Long Way To The Top
A couple of rare things about this song. Firstly there’s not too many hard rock bands that can use the bagpipes in a song. AC/DC pull it off perfectly. Secondly, there is probably no chance of ever being able to do a video like this one any more. Such a simple idea of jumping on the back of a flatbed truck and driving down one of the main streets of Melbourne.

I’ve known about this song for years and it was also used in one of the American Pie movies, although it was covered by another singer. Think it was the first one. I then heard it recently on television and had to look up who sings it. Took a while because I kept getting the lyrics wrong.
By the way, great name for a band.
