Toni Basil – Mickey

Oh Mickey your so fine. If you listened to music in the 8os then you will recognise those worlds. If you are a BMXer from the last couple of years your will also recognise it from this Odyssey BMX DVD and the Aaron Ross section. Or maybe you are a Kirsten Dunst fan and have watched them do a parody of this during the closing credits of the film Bring It On.

Frankie Goes To Hollywood – Relax

Frankie was a bit too cool for himself, however, there were a few good songs and Relax was definitely one of them I liked.

Flock of Seagulls – I Ran – Live

Classic weird hair band from the 80s. Great song though and I was reminded of it recently because one of the bars I used to walk past regularly would been playing it out loud.

U2 – Sunday Bloody Sunday – Live

U2 do a lot of thought provoking songs and this is one of them. Still remember watching this during Live Aid back in 1985. A timeless classic and one of the songs I always hope they play when I see them live.

David Bowie – Heroes – Live

The best song by David Bowie and that is saying something because he has had so many great ones and it has been a long career that is still going. there’s a couple of live versions I like, with one being at Live Aid and this one from a concert DVD. “We can beat them, for ever and ever…”
