Foo Fighters – In Your Honour – Live

Lucky enough to see the same concert by the Foo Fighters in Melbourne. Possibly the best start to a concert ever. Loud, and I mean real loud guitars, the curtain raised and the band start cranking out the words. Fantastic.

Crush – Jellyhead

Probably another of the embarrassing ones and I shouldn’t admit to liking such a pop song. Oh well, we are all entitled to a few. Heard this on a television show and can’t remember which one. Went for years without knowing what it was then heard it played at a 21st party and asked the DJ for the name and artist. Now I would just to one of the lyrics websites and have the answer in seconds.

The Real Kids – All Kindsa Girls – Live

Went through a bit of a punk phase after viewing the S&M Bikes website where they have a bunch of songs from bands like The Real Kids. This is one of the songs on the site.

Area 7 – Second Class Citizen

Didn’t know much about this ska band until I heard this song on a Triple J compilation CD. After a bit I research I then saw they sung the Aussie classic, Nobody Likes A Bogan.

Robin Gibb – I’ve Got To Get A Message To You – Live

No sure if including this one adds to my coolness factor or simply reduces it to nothing. Oh well, I’m old enough to not care about that stuff now, unless it adds to it, in which case please spread the word. I like the Bee Gees although I don’t listen to them as often as other stuff. Technically this isn’t a Bee Gees song and is a solo effort by Robin Gibb, however, who cares, it’s just a good song.
