One of the best opening sequences for a television program. It is from the HBO series, True Blood. No images of the show or the actors, just photos and footage is other stuff. Very cool song titled “Bad Things” by Jace Everett. Anyone else think it is the perfect first date song?

This song was used in the television program, The Secret Life of Us. I remember staying with friends up in Balmain, Sydney and found a couple of their CDs cheap so I grabbed them. All the songs are worth a listen.

This one’s for you Lew Ashby because “life’s to fuckin’ boring not to try.” Sheryl Crow has done lots of covers and I usually like them. Didn’t know much about this song other than I liked it when I heard this version whilst watching an episode from season two of Californication. I really liked the Lew Ashby character. Kind of liked his house and lifestyle too.
Originally a The Who song and also covered by Limp Bizkit as a dedication to the girl who was killed at one of their concerts.

So many years ago and this used to be on late at night on a Friday. I think I was in about year 11 or 12 at the time. Only a few of us watched it. Now I have slowly been going through the seasons on DVD.
