U2 do a lot of thought provoking songs and this is one of them. Still remember watching this during Live Aid back in 1985. A timeless classic and one of the songs I always hope they play when I see them live.

The best song by David Bowie and that is saying something because he has had so many great ones and it has been a long career that is still going. there’s a couple of live versions I like, with one being at Live Aid and this one from a concert DVD. “We can beat them, for ever and ever…”

Possibly my favourite Robbie Williams song. Although there are a few others that I like as well. If you like the song you have to check out the video as well. Be warned though, like the lyrics it is for an adult audience only. I think we can all relate to it if we have woken up the next morning after a big party.

A song originally by Hunters and Collections, an Australian band and then covered by Pearl Jam at concerts. Finally Mark Seymour and Pearl Jam got together and performed the song on stage. A fantastic song sung by a couple of the best singers.

A good Aussie band formed in the late 70s. Many of the members went on to further musical careers or continued in the art environment. Reg Mombassa is probably one of the more well known for his work with Mambo. This is a good song that sums up their catalog very well.
