The Choirboys and this song in particular will evoke lots of memories from Australians sitting in the backyard or by the beach having a BBQ with their makes and cranking this out. And if that scenario doesn’t fit them standing in a pub sticking to the bear soaked carpet probably does.

One of the few successful (as in hit the mainstream) indigenous Australian bands. This song received a lot of airplay and it’s understandable as to why. It just a great song with sounds you don’t normally hear in a song.

Bit of a crap movie compared to the original, however, it does have Michelle Pfeiffer in it, so all is not lost. A pretty early role for her. As I’ve said before, I like it when the characters sing songs (although I’m not a fan of musicals so go figure…) and this one doesn’t disappoint.

A great BMX DVD and you know with the budget Odyssey has the list of team riders (Mike Aitken, Jimmy Levan, Aaron Ross, Matt Berringer and heaps more) it is going to be good. Even better is the DVD version includes some of the previous Odyssey titles. So stop watching all the small web versions of parts and go out and buy the DVD.

Fell in love with Wendy James years ago and as well as looking good she can sing well as the front person in Transvision Vamp. Trashy and cool at the same time. Just not sure she would be the type to take home to meet your mother.
