Another song that I first heard in a BMX video and love it. A perfect intro where it scans the members of the Kink team and then just as the song fires up, the first riding footage is shown. Gave me the idea to do a similar thing when I had to put the RSABOUT Jurassic Classic footage to music.

A famous song for those who listened to a lot of 80s music. Actually even if you didn’t listen to a lot of music you still probably know this one. Song in either English as 99 Red Balloons or German as 99 Luft Balloons.
Most recent use that I know of is in the film Wedding Crashers with Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson.

Pet Shop Boys are one of those bands that I think I might be a bit embarrassed to like. You know the kind that you turn the car stereo down at the traffic lights so people don’t realise what is playing. Anyway, I guess the word is out now. Love the intro to this version. Any song with a keyboard intro is usually added to my playlist.

Probably not cool to say I like this one, however, I’m comfortable enough with who I am to say it’s a good song. I remember the lead single Jimmy Somerville having a few issues with people in relation to his sexuality. Hopefully in the last 25+ years people have become more tolerant.

Classic weird hair band from the 80s. Great song though and I was reminded of it recently because one of the bars I used to walk past regularly would been playing it out loud.
