U2 – Sunday Bloody Sunday – Live

U2 do a lot of thought provoking songs and this is one of them. Still remember watching this during Live Aid back in 1985. A timeless classic and one of the songs I always hope they play when I see them live.

David Bowie – Heroes – Live

The best song by David Bowie and that is saying something because he has had so many great ones and it has been a long career that is still going. there’s a couple of live versions I like, with one being at Live Aid and this one from a concert DVD. “We can beat them, for ever and ever…”

Pearl Jam with Mark Seymour – Throw Your Arms Around Me – Live

A song originally by Hunters and Collections, an Australian band and then covered by Pearl Jam at concerts. Finally Mark Seymour and Pearl Jam got together and performed the song on stage. A fantastic song sung by a couple of the best singers.

Tears For Fears – Mad World – Live

Not a fan of this band in that I don’t like watching them, however, there are a few songs that are outstanding and I listen to them regularly. Mad World is one of them. Has also been used in a few film soundtracks and also advertisements.
